Mpandawana is a town and the largest service centre in Gutu District, Zimbabwe.
In the early years of independent Zimbabwe’s economic planning, Mpandawana was designated as a growth point.
By 2012 the settlement had a population of over 30 000 people and was recently granted town status.
The town has a post office, shops, banking services, schools, light industry and a hospital.
Mpandawana has several residential suburbs namely Old location, Hwiru, Gonville, Munhende, Gutu surburbs, Chomfuli, Mess camp and Mpandawana Extension.
Education facilities in Mpandawana Town are Gutu united and Hwiru primary schools, Mpandawana high school and Gutu vocational training centre.
